Wheels Go Round is an award-winning interactive installation that transforms public spaces into places of play, discovery, and community connection. Since receiving the 2016 Denver Mayor's Design Award for Active Spaces, the artwork has traveled to communities across the United States, with each installation adapted to its location and audience.

16th Street
Denver, Colorado
Wheels Go Round is an 18-foot-long interactive installation featuring 14 colorful recycled bicycle wheels. Visitors spin the wheels to create sound through bells and chimes, transforming the artwork into a playful, shared experience.
In 2016, the installation received the Denver Mayor's Design Award for Active Spaces.


Carbondale, Colorado
This site-specific version of Wheels Go Round was created for a park in Carbondale, Colorado, along the Rio Grande Trail. Featuring 12 colorful recycled bicycle wheels, the installation invites visitors to spin the wheels and create sounds through bells and chimes.

Crested Butte, Colorado
This site-specific version of Wheels Go Round was installed in Crested Butte Town Park near the Center for the Arts. Located along a pedestrian path, the artwork creates opportunities for play, interaction, and community connection.
Courthouse Square
Santa Rosa, California
This site-specific version of Wheels Go Round was installed in Courthouse Square in Santa Rosa, California. Elevated on a custom concrete base, the artwork serves as a colorful and interactive focal point within the city's central gathering space.
